Keeping in mind the age of the house, we decided to cover the old concrete step, which acted as a cold storage as well, with a slate "Flagstone". Since the property already had an old flagstone walkway it was any easy decision. The idea here was not to disrupt the existing landscapes look and feel which was old style and natural. A simple and unique walkway/step system who's old world style remains timeless.
