Seamless Curves
On this project the main idea was to have as little straight lines as possible and widen the laneway to accommodate 2 vehicles. An inviting opening at the end of the driveway comes to a rounded top which separates the laneway area that is located under the carport. Our main objective for under the carport was to not make it feel so much like a laneway as a walkway to the backyard. And with only minimal asphalt being installed, it almost feels as if the interlock is directing you to the backyard! An existing concrete step system was covered to match the rest of our interlock installation.
